Builders & project managers · London

Built asagreed.

One named lead. One Spec, agreed room by room. One price, including VAT.

How it works

  1. Step 1

    We visit and listen.

We walk round the house with you and hear what you want.

  2. Step 2

    We write your Spec.

Room by room, in plain English: what’s in, what’s out, what we’ve assumed and what you choose.

  3. Step 3

    We agree one price.

For everything in your Spec, including VAT, before any work starts.

  4. Step 4

    One named lead runs it.

From the first day on site to handover, with a written update every week.

Wayland’s SmithyThe Ridgeway, Oxfordshire

Why we’re called Wayland

Wayland is the smith of English legend: leave a fair price, and the work is done properly.

In the legend it happened by magic. We do it with method.

Our name comes from Wayland’s Smithy, a long barrow on the Ridgeway more than 5,000 years old.
